REGIONAL LAND TYPES

Contrary to popular belief, the Middle East is not one big desert. In fact, there is substantial natural vegetation and agriculture in some regions. This map will help you have a better idea of where to place vegetation tiles so that the theater terrain looks more accurate. Keep in mind that we are not striving for 100% perfection as it would be impossible without satellite imagery. This is only a rough idea of how much vegetation each region has.
